RISE offers after-school science programs to show students that science is interesting, everywhere, and for everyone.

RISE Updates: Our Website is currently under MAJOR construction. Please, forgive the mess in the meantime!

Important news: The RISE Program has been awarded a 3 year grant from the AT&T Foundation. This award of $224,108 will provide the RISE Program with the funds to expand our High School curriculum to incorporate new science and academic workshops and experiences. RISE Staff are very excited to implement this new curriculum!

 

High School Activity Schedule:

Salinas
Seniors: Mondays 4-6pm, at the Salinas Boys and Girls Club

9th & 10th grade: Tuesdays 4-6pm, at the Salinas Boys and Girls Club

11th Grade: Thursdays 4-6pm, at the Salinas Boys and Girls Club

Peninsula
Seniors & Juniors (11th Grade): Wednesdays 2:30-4:30pm, at the Seaside Boys and Girls Club

9th & 10th Grade: Thursdays 4-6pm, at the Seaside Boys and Girls Club

 

Middle School Activity Schedule:

Salinas
Harden Middle School: Mondays 3:30-5:30pm, in Mr. Cunningham's Room

Peninsula
Los Arboles Middle School: Mondays 3:40-5:30pm, in Mr. Hoftseen's Room #21

 

 

 

Scholarship & Graduation Announcements:

The 2009 RISE Graduation Ceremony will be held at CSUMB on Wednesday May 27th at 6:30pm. We hope to see all of our Seniors join us for a celebration dinner.

Also, RISE is launching our first Renewal Scholarship Program. See the "SCHOLARSHIP" Link for more details.

Field Trips:
